I had a great mothers day, but I need to get the pictures from my dad, so for now I will finally post some belly pics of Peanut. Jon started calling the baby Peanut Thomas and the name has just stuck. I think even after it's born it might still be called Peanut as a nickname.
As of today I am 16 weeks along. I have been told by numerous people that between 14-16 weeks I should start feeling much better. Well, let's just say that Saturday night was the worst experience I have ever had and I will spare you the details and just say...I obviously haven't reached the end yet. But I will say I have a very nice husband who probably got more than he bargained for on Saturday. :)
So here are a few pictures:

6 weeks + 2 + 3 = one tired 28 year old
This afternoon I had the honor of being the first person (non parent) to babysit Brady. He is just a BIG cutie pie. I think him and I are going to get along just fine. Maddie came to, which Ethan was very excited about. Besides the first five minutes the kids have been great. Although I did learn that when watching 3 kids you have to be a little more prepared. When it’s just E and I we are kind of lazy and go with the flow. So when Maddie and Brady arrived lunch wasn’t even started yet. And when it was time for naps, none of the beds had sheets on them because I was washing them. And when I went to get milk I realized that I only had enough for one cup, not two…so they each got a half a cup before bed. OOPS. Next time I will have to be a bit more on top of things.
But, right now I can’t complain because I am sitting here typing next to a 6 week old who is sleeping soundly, Maddie and Ethan are both upstairs asleep and I am still alive and even had time to update my blog. My shirt even smells like spit-up which I am thoroughly enjoying.
Peanut Thomas is doing great! We are 15 weeks and 5 days along. I have a little belly starting to show and I am not throwing up all day long, just a few times! I consider that a bonus. Ethan is just as perfect as ever. We have learned that positive reinforcement works 100 times better with Ethan than anything. I have noticed if I try to say thank you and good job for all the little things he does our days go much smoother and he is a different kid. The other day he told me that I was doing a good job driving home and that we were almost there. LOL, it was pretty hilarious.
I should have taken some pictures of all the kids today, but my camera is under the pile of laundry that I am supposed to fold. :)

192 Days...
I added a counter to our blog (all by myself if I might add). After our appointment yesterday things finally started to seem more real. Don't get me wrong, the 24 hour "morning" sickness has been a good reminder , but seeing a baby at 12 weeks and knowing that it already has arms, legs, skin, organs, brain, etc...just makes me think about how wonder God is. I just remind myself of that every day when I am laying on the bathroom floor.
As I was driving home from our appointment I was chatting with Ethan, eating a burrito from Taco Time (mmmmm) and couldn't help but think how perfect the moment was and how blessed we truly are. I am more excited now to find out what we are having. There are a lot of votes for a girl with this baby. Honestly, we are going to be so excited either way. A girl scares me a bit because there is nothing pink in this house....literally....nothing. Ethan is all boy so I think a girl would be an adventure. But boys...I just love having a boy. Ethan has the best toys, and we have a great time playing together. I am an expert at building tracks, assembling toy cars, jumping on the couch, making forts and all the wonderful things Ethan has taught me. Whatever God has in store for us, I know we will enjoy every minute.

Peanut Thomas
We got to take a sneak peak at Peanut Thomas today. It’s so amazing to see God’s wonderful work right there inside of you. I am 12 weeks 4 days pregnant and measured right on schedule. Our little peanut has two legs, two arms and a great heart beat, 167 beats per minute! Ethan keeps saying that it is a girl and the Dr. said that most of the time the kids are actually right. We find out May 27 if Ethan is right or not.

Easter Fun
Easter was a lot of fun this year. I think every year as Ethan grows it is more and more fun. He is still asking me to go on a Easter Egg Hunt again. Will spring ever come in Idaho...I don't know. It was so cold on Sunday we did the egg hunt inside at my parent's house. But the kids still had a great time and seemed to think it was fun to run around Grandmas house looking for eggs. Here are my favorite pictures!
Hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

What is 39.5 inches tall and 38 pounds??
Why our perfect little boy that's who! Ethan had is 3 year check up and I think the Dr. said it quick good when she said, "Ethan you are a perfect little boy". His talking and motor skills are ahead of where they should be and he is in the 90th percentile for both height and weight. He had his eyes checked and was able to point out most of the shapes and symbols on the chart. I was proud. :) He did get a shot, which was not his favorite. He was so brave and just looked at the nurse and said "that hurt!". I think he forgave her when she gave him a bouncy ball. It was like she knew him. Ha ha.
Did you know that they start screening for obesity at the age of 3 now! I was shocked when they calculated his BMI. Obviously E is nowhere near needing to be concerned, but they said that due to the rise in obesity in children they are starting to track it as early as three now. I just found that so sad that there are kids who are already considered obese at the third year check up. It makes me wonder how many kids out there get a balanced diet everyday and who are encouraged to be active. People are always shocked when they find out that E didn't have a milkshake until February of this year. LOL, I mean we have ice cream and such, but it's more a treat not a food group. And he had his first root beer this weekend...is that bad? I guess I don't think many 3 year olds need to be drinking soda. Did you know that this next generation they are actually predicting that they will not live as long as their parents. So sad. :)
Anyway, his appointment just got me thinking about the health of our kids and what I can do to make sure E lives a long healthy life.

Celebrating Ethan
It's hard to beleve that Ethan is three! We had a very fun celebration at home with family on his birthday. He loves Cars so I made him a Cars birthday cake. He really liked it. Here are some of the pictures. Thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate Ethan's special day.
