Well I guess I need to work on my blog security ha ha. That post certainly was sweet of Jon and it made my day. I didn't know it was there till I saw my sisters comment in my in box and it took me a few minutes to figure out what was going on. He is so sneaky =)
For Mothers day we did our annual brunch tradition with my family. We all bring some of our favorite breakfast dishes for a brunch potluck. I brought sticky buns and fruit crepes. Yummo! My dad brought farmers breakfast (eggs, potatoes, cheese, links (veggie sausage), seasonings...super yummy). My sister made a frittata and stripples on toast. For those wondering what stripples on toast is...it's our vegetarian version of biscuits and gravy ha ha. Only we put it on toast. Very yummy. As you can see we all needed our arteries unclogged after that meal. :)
After breakfast and some family pictures and playing we headed home and I put Isaac down for a nap. Then I took Ethan and just him and I went to do something special. We don't get just Ethan and Mommy time as must as we used too so I try to do it with him more. He told me on the way I was spending to much time with Daddy ha ha. This will be an upcoming post soon.
After that we came home and cleaned up a bit and I made dinner and a fruit pizza and we had Jon's parents over for dinner to celebrate with Jon's mom. They ended up bringing Ethan's cousins, Alexis and Emma with them so we had a full house. I made taco salad which I though was quite yummy and helped to hopefully lessen the blow from breakfast. I don't think I will do so good at my weigh in this week. :(
After that...I had a headache and went to bed! I did get a very nice beginner sewing machine for mothers day which I am super excited to learn. So if anyone wants to teach me let me know ha ha. I have a lot of ideas of things I want to make just need to figure out how to do it.
All the pictures all still stuck on Bapa's camera and Bapa is working super duper hard to get them off ha ha. So when I have some I will be sure to post.
