The first memory verse Ethan ever memorized was "Love your neighbor as yourself" Luke 10:27. Except when I would say it to him and ask him to repeat it he would say "I love my neighbor as myself". Isn't that cute.
And when I tried to teach him the next verse for the week he was convinced that it was still "I love my neighbor as myself". In fact...he insists that is the only memory verse lol. So we are still working on the concept of memorizing more than one. But I guess you have to start somewhere.
