Here is E enjoying some Elmo (you may notice the powder around his lips from his powered donut.)
Then we stopped for a good lunch at My Fathers Place. E had his first milkshake...which he enjoyed.
Then Ethan started making funny faces at Jon.
We played in the snow, looked at the ice sculptures (which were melted and not so good)...stopped at a kids carnival for a quick ride and took Ethan ice skating. With all of the commercials for the Olympics he has been asking to go ice skating and pretends to ice skate around the whole house.
Ice skating lasted about an hour. Ethan did very well considering he is 3 on Saturday. He was skating as good as kids there that were much older. I was afraid that he wouldn't have the strength in his ankles to even stand up. But we made him walk first before skating and it only took him a few times to get it. As I said we were only skating for about an hour....and in that hour we went 3 times around the rink. LOL LOL. But we never fell and Jon was impressed that I could skate well enough to keep me and E up. Ethan was a little frustrated that he wasn't able to skate by himself. He kept saying "okay...I do it by myself" and "I want to be big like those kids". Anyway, here are the pics from our adventure skating. He has already asked to go back...so maybe he will be a hockey player. :)
We are excited to go back next year!
