Ethan Style

Poor Ethan has been fighting something for a good three weeks. Fever has been gone for two weeks but I can tell he doesn't feel 100%. And in true Ethan style...the virus caused what the Dr. is calling Reactive Airway Disease.   From what I have been reading it's essentially Asthma but without the diagnosis of Asthma. We are doing breathing treatments for the next two weeks 3 times a day and then we will follow up with his Dr. again to see if this was truly caused by a virus or if he has asthma. I really hope he doesn't have asthma but then again if it turns out to be at least we know and can get him the right meds and treatments so he feels better.

His cough is already a lot better and he has a ton more energy. Jon and I were both commenting how "down" he has really been the last three weeks. Sunday he was outside most of the day with Jon. I had no idea a cough was a symptom of asthma.

So here is a picture of my boy doing his breathing treatment. He does great with them. And after the second one he said "ahhh that is better". Poor guy. I would appreciate your prayers as we try to make sure they can figure out exactly what caused this.
