Wednesday...

I am so glad today is Wednesday....because that means tomorrow is Thursday. Thursday is my favorite day of the week (excluding weekends obviously). I don't know why they have just always been that way. I think it started a long time ago when Friends and ER were on. Man I miss the days of Friends, Will and Grace and ER lol. How sad is that haha. It's a good thing I have Big Bang Theory and Rules of Engagement. :)

Today didn't start good. I had a hard time sleeping. Isaac was up playing in his crib from 3:30 to 5:30...and Ethan woke up at 6:45. At least Isaac was playing and wasn't crying or screaming. I just laid in bed and listed to him talk and giggle and everyone once and a while a smile would come across my face because I just couldn't help it.  Jon was here this morning because our furnace is broken. We have been without heat since Wednesday morning. The fixer people were coming and it's a little hard to deal with them and four kids so he was nice and stayed home. You would think having him here would be helpful...but he doesn't know our routine lol. The kids get hyper and then he goes upstairs to work. So that added to the mix.

Since our heat was out I was using the fireplace downstairs to heat the house. I forgot it was on and momentarily stepped into the kitchen....and then I heard a cry. A cry that you don't hear very often and the kind where you know exactly what has happened without even looking. Poor Brady had touched the fireplace. He ended up with a blister on his finger.  I felt and still feel awful. I am thankful that it was just a blister because I know it could have been much worse.

But tomorrow will be a better day. Even if I don't get much sleep. I will make it a better day.
